BEYOND THE CODE

More than the work.

I build software, but the habits behind it come from learning, training, and always having something playing in the background.

This is the side of me that's a bit more personal.

A soundtrack to the work.

Music is part of how I reset, focus, and keep ideas moving. The albums in rotation change often, but there is always something playing while I build.

Consistency outside the screen.

Training gives me structure. It is where I practice showing up, staying patient with progress, and doing the work even when motivation is not the main thing carrying me.

Problem-solving with no shortcut.

Climbing is a different kind of puzzle: read the route, commit to a move, miss sometimes, adjust, and try again. That process feels familiar when I am building or debugging something difficult.

The principles I keep close.

  1. Learn systems, not just steps.
  2. Build things that are useful.
  3. Get better through feedback and iteration.
  4. Stay curious long enough to finish what I start.
